Adequan Global Dressage Festival 2 CPEDI3*

The Adequan Global Dressage Festival 2 CPEDI3* was a great show as I saw improvement of scores from day to day! Sparklez (aka, Captain Moonlight TG) and I had one more week of training between this show and the first CPEDI3* of the season and we used that time to really improve our walk and trot work and make some adjustments to our equipment. It really paid off.

Again, Sparklez and I had really only been training together since December, but he transitioned into his para life really nicely. He loves going into the show ring and between the first and second show I learned to put even more trust into him that he will carry and take care of me. After the craziness of the first show, I was able to build up more confidence in Sparklez and my own riding.

In the end we danced our way to the Grade II Champions in our Team Test, Individual Championship Test, and Freestyle.

I am so grateful to Sara Schmitt for giving me the chance to ride and show this super talented pony! I’ve learned so much in this short amount of time and really progressed as a rider. Also, everyone at Sara Schmitt Dressage has been so supportive of me and helpful in and out the show ring! Thank you also to my parents for coming to this show all the way from California. It truly takes a village to make this happen and I wouldn’t be here without everyone’s support, training, and guidance!! Thank you.

We couldn’t have done this without all the incredible volunteers, organizers, and sponsors who put on the event; Rowan O'Riley, Becky Reno, USPEA, USEF, Mission Control, Deloitte, and Adequan.

If you would like to support us in our journey, every little bit helps. You can also make a tax deductible donation through through the Southern California Equestrian Sports at: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=C39Y967TS3UH4
